Rental and installation of portable cofferdams
Also called temporary dike, the cofferdam is a temporary system of diversion, retention or dispersion of water that may be used up to a depth of 3.6 meters.
The cofferdam is also composed of a system of self-supporting welded steel tubular supports, covered with a flexible and waterproof fabric membrane, suitable for all types of environments.
Aquapera currently uses two types of cofferdam systems: Portadam® and Vertidam®. Both are excellent options for underwater work while ensuring worker safety and performance.
Efficient and easy to use, the cofferdam is the optimal system for all types of construction, fortification and repair requiring an emerging portion.
As with all the equipment and working methods used by Aquapera, the cofferdam system has a low ecological impact. This dike does not penetrate the soil, no plant resource is used in its manufacturing, its installation is simple, so it does not require any destruction of land and eliminates the risk of cross-contamination between construction sites and water bodies.
Use the cofferdam for speed and efficiency
- Bridge pillar rehabilitation
- Dam rehabilitation
- Boat ramp installation
- Immersed water intake installation
- Flood protection
Types of cofferdams
Portadam® system
The Portadam® technique allows for several categories of work to be done in dry conditions without resorting to excavation, filling, pile driving and sandbag dike installation.
Vertidam® system
The Vertidam® system is designed to go where Portadam® reaches its limits, that is, where the water is deeper. The portable modular cofferdam is an ideal solution for major underwater work.
